short promo piece I made for a children’s outdoor recreation center in Shikoku, Japan. Was originally there to film a day-long event but we decided to also make something that could be used to promote the location. all made from shots taken at a real, unscripted event.

The last couple of years here a c photographic have been busy busy. we are not only about photography but, now, also film. the whole visual experience, not just stills or moving images. both. this site design hasn’t kept up with the inclusion of videography and so I am working with a professional designer at the moment to make create an easier to use site which showcases not just video and photography, but that also lets you get a better idea of the kind of imagery I make.

with the site being rejigged and redesigned I haven’t been updating this one, but have been busy photographing and filming. some pictures above from a wedding at miyajiama a couple of weeks ago. filming in Tokyo this Saturday and then back to Miyajima for filming on Sunday.

the new design will be online, here, hopefully sometime this March. so do pop back.

100 roses in Karuizawa

First time I have ever seen that many roses, but the groom surprised the bride with a hundred of them before this wedding in Karuizawa, Japan. Quite a sight. Beautiful setting in a chapel in the forest and then a family dinner at a holiday villa nearby.

A tent makes a showing, a gift from the friends of the couple, during the reception in this wedding film shot at a Japanese shrine in Hamamatsu, Japan.

Actually, if you look carefully, the groom from this movie makes a showing and if you look closely in you might be able to find the scene where he shows that movie to others waiting before the reception party.
